Child Safety Standards for AMI Connect
Last updated: 8 October 2026
AMI Connect has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out our standards and what we do when they are broken. It applies to everyone who uses AMI Connect, in every chat, call, group and status.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated material.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sexualising minors in messages, photos, videos, statuses, profile pictures or names.
- Sextortion, or threatening a minor to obtain images, money or contact.
- Trafficking or advertising minors for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above.
Age requirement
AMI Connect is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age in the user's country if higher. If we learn that an account belongs to a child below that age, we remove it.
How to report
- In the app: long-press any message and choose Report. The report includes that message so we can review it. You can also block anyone from the chat menu.
- By email: [email protected] with the subject "Child safety". Anyone can report, with or without an AMI Connect account.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
- We review child-safety reports as our highest priority.
- We permanently ban accounts that share CSAM or attempt to exploit a minor.
- We remove the reported content and preserve the evidence lawfully needed for an investigation.
- We report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement in the Sultanate of Oman and the reporter's country.
- We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
Legal compliance
AMI Connect complies with applicable child-safety laws, including the laws of the Sultanate of Oman and the countries where the app is available, and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.
