Yes. Messages and calls use your internet connection, so your mobile operator may charge for data. Your sign-in code comes by SMS.
Open this page on your phone and tap Download APK. Open the file when it has downloaded and, if your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps. Then tap Install.
Open web.c0nnect.me in your browser, or install the Windows app. On your phone, open Connect, tap the computer icon on the Chats screen, and point the phone at the code.
Connect backs up your chats every day. Install Connect on the new phone and sign in with the same number. Connect asks whether to restore your chats: tap Restore.
Not in encrypted chats. New chats are end-to-end encrypted automatically: only the people in the chat can read them, not Connect.
One account works on one phone at a time: signing in on a new phone signs the old one out. You can use Connect Web and the Windows app alongside your phone.

In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. We text you a code to confirm. This removes your profile and the messages you sent.
